The PSC Approach to Cycle Syncing
we believe movement should work with your body - not against it.
Move With Your Rhythm
〰️
Move With Your Rhythm 〰️
For many women, energy, strength, mood, and recovery naturally shift throughout the menstrual cycle. Instead of forcing the same workout intensity every day, cycle syncing invites you to move in rhythm with your body’s changing hormones.
When you learn to listen to those rhythms, something powerful happens.
Movement stops feeling like something you have to push through… and starts becoming something you return to as a ritual.
Not a rule.
Not a restriction.
Just a way to support your body exactly where it is.
And that’s where consistency lives.
Your Cycle Has Four Phases
Every phase of the menstrual cycle brings its own hormonal landscape. Those hormones influence things like energy level, strength output, recovery capacity, mood and motivation, and social energy.
Understanding these shifts can help you choose workouts that feel supportive instead of draining.
At PSC, our multi-modality programming makes it easy to adjust your movement based on what your body needs.
Below is a guide to what you may experience during each phase — and how movement can support you.
Menstrual Phase
Rest, Reset, Restore
Typical Days: 1–5
Hormones: Estrogen and progesterone are at their lowest levels. This is your body’s natural reset.Energy may feel lower, your body may crave warmth or grounding movement, and recovery-focused workouts can feel especially supportive. Many women notice they feel more inward during this time — a moment to slow down and reconnect with their bodies. You may feel lower energy & crave rest.PSC classes that may feel good during your Menstrual Phase

Luteal Phase
Slow Down and Support
Typical Days: 17–28
Hormones: Progesterone rises and then gradually falls.During this phase, energy may start to taper and recovery can become more important.Early luteal days may still feel strong, while later days often invite slower, more intentional movement.Listening to your body during this time helps avoid burnout and keeps movement sustainable. It’s common to feel more sensitive to stress, desire structure, and energy that fluctuates.PSC classes that may feel good during your Luteal Phase

Turning Movement Into Ritual
At PSC, we don’t believe your workouts should demand the same version of you every day. Your energy shifts. Your hormones shift. Your life shifts. The goal isn’t to fight those rhythms — it’s to learn to move with them. When you honor your body’s natural cycles, movement becomes more sustainable, more intuitive, and far more enjoyable. What once felt like discipline starts to feel like ritual. And that’s where real consistency — and real transformation — begins.
Your body already knows the rhythm.
We’re just here to help you move with it.
In rhythm & ritual we trust.
